Hi, my name is Jisu, and I’m a 4th year Statistics & Data Science major at UCLA. As the project manager, I paid close attention to schedule and milestones by keeping detailed project documentation, alerting the team to potential roadblocks or time constraints, and ensuring clear communication among team members.

DATA SPECIALIST

I am a senior at UCLA majoring in Statistics and Data Science. As the data specialist I oversee the cleaning, refining, and augmenting of the group’s dataset. I also ensure the data is standardized, usable, and well-formatted.

Emmy Su 

DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST

I am a senior at UCLA majoring in Statistics and Data Science. As a Data Visualization Specialist, I oversee the data visualizations for projects, ensuring that we implement appropriate visualization tools, and providing guidance to teammates on their use. Additionally, I refine and enhance visual representations before integrating them into the site.

Shireen Ansari

CONTENT DEVELOPER

Hi, I’m Shireen and I’m a third-year Sociology major & Digital Humanities minor at UCLA. As the Content Developer, I oversee the authoring of the site’s main narrative and ensure that the data visualizations and maps integrate neatly with the written content. I also oversee the “About” page writing section headers and captions.

WEB DESIGNER

Hi there! I’m a graduating senior at UCLA studying Business Economics with minors in Environmental Systems & Society and Art History. As the web designer, I work with HTML and Wordpress to consolidate our data visualizations, narrative, and analysis into a visually cohesive site.
